FURTHER PENALTIES AT DARLINGTON

CJR Officials announced further penalties for Pete Morales following further review of the final race restart at Darlington.

After reviewing race replay and in-game voice chat it became clear Pete Morales of the #34 Ford Mustang made an intentional decision to ignore the black box at one to go on the final restart. Deciding to pass 2 lead lap cars in front of him to gain a lap back and get back to lead lap. Per CJR Official Sporting code sections 4.5.3.6 and NASCAR STYLE RACE PROCEDURES 1.6.2 this is not allowed.

For violating these sections so clearly Pete Morales’ Cup License has been revoked for the remainder of the season. He will be eligible to participate in off-season and 2025 Cup Series events.

As a reminder there will be zero tolerance for any intentional breaking of the rules, especially in the playoffs.
