CJR officials also announced that Pete Morales, substitute driver of the #34 Ford Mustang, will be penalized post-race for illegally passing the pace car in the final caution sequence. For such infractions the penalty is being scored the last car a lap down. Long time fans will remember when Archie Williams, driver for the now defunct Circuit Motorsport Club, was penalized the same following a similar incident at COTA.
A reminder, any of the penalties can be appealed via the ticket function in the League Discord.
